There was no discussion and the recommendations were approved on a unanimous vote.

ORIGINAL STORY 4/11/25: The Raleigh County Board of Education will hold a special meeting on Tuesday to vote on transferring educators to new positions.
After voting on multiple transfers and reductions-in-force (RIF), on Tuesday the board will vote to approve the transfer of multiple educators who have found a new position with Raleigh County Schools.
According to the special meeting agenda submitted by Superintendent Dr. Serena Starcher, the transfers include elementary, secondary, and special education educators.

The special meeting will also include the consideration of medical leave approvals, extracurricular hirings, approval of entering the levy rates for 2025-26, and one expulsion hearing.
