COLCORD, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A prowler complaint led to multiple arrests and drug charges after two individuals were caught removing property from a building in the Colcord area of Raleigh County on April 30, 2025.
Corporal R. McDaniel of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office responded to the call and quickly identified and arrested Justin Hunter Runion and Lindsey Danielle Taylor. The suspects now face a series of charges, including:

Entering Without Breaking

Conspiracy to Commit a Felony

Trespassing

Possession of a Controlled Substance

Conspiracy to Commit a Misdemeanor

Petit Larceny
During the arrest, Cpl. McDaniel recovered approximately 0.64 grams of suspected fentanyl, a Schedule II controlled substance.
Sheriff Frank Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton praised Cpl. McDaniel for his swift response and thorough investigation. “There is zero tolerance for criminal activity in Raleigh County,” said Sheriff Priddy. “Our deputies are committed to keeping our communities safe.”
Authorities noted that while Runion has a prior arrest history, both individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
