CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – West Virginia Attorney General and Governor-Elect, Patrick Morrisey on Tuesday revealed members of his gubernatorial transition team, which includes Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee Chair and businesswoman, Julie Kominsky.
Kominsky has established herself as a successful businesswoman and community contributor in the Raleigh County area and has excelled in the role of Chairwoman for the Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee. The role has entailed organizing events to engage with and provide information to local Republican voters, as well as working directly with Republican politicians and candidates from the local to state levels.
“We have a Julie Kominsky, who is the chair of the Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee [and] a successful businessman from Daniels, West Virginia,” said Morrisey. “Julie has just really impressed me. She’s one of the most organized people I’ve met and very, very bright, and I’m going to learn a lot from her… I am thankful for Julie for being willing to join our transition team as a co-leader.”
Kominsky has been an instrumental force in the recent establishment of the Raleigh County GOP Headquarters located on Harper Road, which recently celebrated its Grand Opening at a ribbon cutting ceremony event with members of the Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce. The Attorney General would pay a visit to the headquarters location just prior to Election Day as part of his “Keep the Faith” tour.
The Raleigh County Republican Executive Committee Chairwoman has also been adamant about encouraging state support for Republican candidates, leveraging her significant influence in support of candidates such as Brian Helton, Kris Warner, Michael Froble, and of course Patrick Morrisey in the 2024 General Election.
“Congratulations to our strong conservatives who tirelessly worked to achieve this huge victory for America!,” said Kominsky of the 2024 General Election results. “The future looks AMAZING!!”
