RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Raleigh County man is accused of sexually assaulting a person with an intellectual disability.
According to the West Virginia State Police, police were called to Raleigh General Hospital, where a victim, her mother, and a nurse were present. The victim said that Bryan Morgan picked her up from her home, took her to get ice cream at McDonald’s, then touched her inappropriately, and then had sex with her. She told Morgan to stop, but he didn’t.
On Friday, May 29, 2026, police went to the accused’s residence and spoke with him. The accused admitted to this Trooper that he and the victim had gone to McDonald’s for ice cream and that they did “fool around”. He further stated to another Trooper that they did have sexual intercourse on another day.
Morgan is charged with third-degree sexual assault and is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a $100,000 cash-only bond.
