RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Parks and Recreation is spreading holiday cheer with its Annual Candy Cane Hunt, a family-friendly event combining a scavenger hunt with a puzzle-solving challenge.
Participants will search for Candy Cane Clues placed at multiple locations, including Lake Stephens Overlook and Dam, Dry Hill-Prosperity Community Park, Fitzpatrick Park, Marsh Fork Park, Stoco Community Park, and the Clear Fork Rail Trail. The goal is to find and unscramble the clues to solve the puzzle.
Prizes are up for grabs! The first five correct entries submitted will receive a $10 gift card, while the grand prize winner will receive an exclusive prize package.
Raleigh County Parks and Recreation reminds participants not to remove the clues or candy canes from their locations. If an answer sheet isn’t available, participants can take a picture of the clue and solve it later. Missing items should be reported to RCPRA using the provided contact information.
The scavenger hunt runs until December 22, 2023. Registration forms and clue locations are available at raleighcountyparks.gov. Completed forms must be submitted via email to events@raleighcountyparks.gov.
