BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Community members and prospective preschool students made their way to the Raleigh County Convention Center on Friday where the area’s annual Pre-K Expo event was held.
Sponsored by Raleigh County Schools and Access Health, the expo provided the opportunity for children turning four years old by July 1, 2024, to be enrolled in Pre-K for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year.
An array of vendors from various local businesses and organizations could be seen set up at the event, including WVAdultEd, Beckley Police Department, UniCare, Chick-fil-A, and many more.
The event was held from 9:00am to 1:00pm on Friday and featured multiple giveaways, resources, and entertainment opportunities for young ones in attendance, including a bounce house/slide and a full Raleigh County School bus parked inside the convention center which was available to board for tours.
