RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Schools has announced the opening of registration for their Virtual Program for the 2022-2023 school year.
The program, a customized online learning experience, offers live instruction for students in grades 6-12. The standards-based curriculum provides students with a personalized learning option.
Some of the features of the program include live instruction in core subjects such as Math, ELA, Science, and History, clubs, extra-curricular activities, and student organizations, a Chromebook issued by Raleigh County for use throughout the duration of the program, and flexibility to access courses 24 hours a day to accommodate varying schedule needs.

Raleigh County Schools has also announced a learning opportunity for current 5th grade students in the form of the STEAM Summer Camp program.
The camp will be held at Beckley Stratton Middle School from June 21 to July 1, with drop off from 7:45am – 8:00am and pick up at 1:00pm. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for those who attend.
The camp theme is “Engineering is Everywhere,” and those interested in registering can do so here. The deadline to register is June 8.
