RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Commission is looking to hire a new Animal Control Officer to enforce animal control and leash laws in the county.
The full-time position requires five days of work per week, along with rotating on-call nights and weekends.
Responsibilities include capturing and impounding animals, issuing citations, investigating complaints, maintaining records, and performing other duties as needed.
Applicants must be certified law enforcement officers in the State of West Virginia and must maintain their certification annually.
Additionally, candidates must have at least one year of experience as a certified law enforcement officer in the state.
