HINTON, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – This Thanksgiving, REACHH-FRC/Child Advocacy Center is working to feed families in need.
The center first partnered with Classic Hits 98.3FM, The Ritz Theatre and The Market to collect food for the community. Starting October 29, residents were asked to supply non-perishable canned and boxed foods to the theatre during movie showtimes. The drive will end on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
As an incentive, anyone who donates to the cause will be entered in a drawing for a free family meal from The Market.
Additionally, REACHH will conduct a Drive-Thru Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Friday, November 19 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.- or until the food runs out. Meals will be passed out at REACHH-FRC on 411 Temple Steet in Hinton.
