FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Visitors to the State Fair of West Virginia on Monday, August 12, have the opportunity to support a good cause while enjoying a discounted entry fee.
Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County is hosting a “Tools for School” supply drive at the fair, offering reduced gate admission prices for those who contribute to the cause.
Fairgoers who bring three school supply items or two personal hygiene products will receive an $8 gate admission, down from the regular price.
Additionally, a combined offer of $25 for both rides and gate admission is available to those who participate in the drive.
The list of needed supplies includes essential items such as highlighters, colored pencils, crayons, glue sticks, No. 2 pencils, pencil sharpeners, mechanical pencils, pencil boxes, pencil pouches, erasers, backpacks, binders, composition notebooks, loose-leaf paper, washable markers, pocket folders, subject dividers, and various hygiene items like disposable washcloths, deodorant, and travel-sized toothbrushes and toothpaste.
