FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Coal City man faces felony charges in Fayette County.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, in the afternoon hours of December 12, 2021, deputies were advised of a reckless driver on US RT 19 in the Glen Jean area. Deputies made contact with the vehicle and observed it swerving between the two lanes of traffic. After making a traffic stop on the car, it was determined that the driver was under the influence. Further investigation revealed that the individual had previous convictions for DUI and pending DUI charges in another county.
James T Miller, 28 of Coal City, was charged with the felony offense of 3rd Offense DUI and the misdemeanor offense of Driving While License is Revoked for DUI. Miller was transported to Southern Regional Jail to await court proceedings.
