BERKELEY COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Authorities are renewing efforts to solve the 2019 death of Staff Sgt. Logan Young, a firefighter with the 167th Airlift Wing of the West Virginia Air National Guard.
Four years after his tragic death, the case remains under active investigation, with a dedicated task force pursuing all leads.

The task force, which includes the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Department, the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Eastern Panhandle Drug and Violent Crimes Task Force, has announced a $35,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
The reward fund includes $20,000 and $10,000 contributions from two anonymous donors, along with $5,000 from the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
Authorities hope the reward will encourage anyone with information to come forward.
