ATHENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Lusk for District 39 Committee is excited to announce that Conservative Republican, Samuel Lusk, has filed as of January 12th, 2026, to be placed on the ballot for West Virginia’s 39th House of Delegates District.
“West Virginia is the place that gave me an incredible education, opportunities to work hard and where I call home. I want to serve the people of the 39th to keep our State the crown jewel of Appalachia,” said Lusk, “That is only possible through improving our education systems, cutting taxes, creating quality, long-term sustainable jobs, and an unmatched quality of life. This is all achievable by working towards meaningful, common-sense conservative policies.”
Currently, Lusk is the Economic Development Director at the City of Princeton. His background includes previous work for the West Virginia Republican Party and later as a Field Representative for Congresswoman Carol Miller.
“I am looking forward to a great campaign to bring to our voters the message of more jobs, more opportunities, and keeping the 39th District the place we are all proud of,” added Lusk.
Lusk lives with his wife, Peyton in Athens, WV, and is an active member of several community service organizations in Mercer County.
