HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Huntington’s own waterfront dining experience made its grand return this month as Schooner’s Waterfront Grille partook in a grand reopening ribbon cutting ceremony.
The establishment, originally opened in 2010, was presented once more to the public under new ownership in the ceremony, during which the team was joined by members of the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce in celebration of the significant event.
Jennifer Woodall has taken the reigns as the new owner of the establishment, and a team featuring Huntington Harbour Marina owners Kenny Boggs and Jason Tolliver, Chef & Kitchen Manager Jedidiah Thornburgh, A/V Manager Mark Williams, General Manager JP Morgan, and an array of brand new staff members will all be along for the ride as well.
The development emerged as the result of a $3,000,000 investment, with the Greater Huntington Parks and Recreation Board and US Corps of Engineers teaming for the construction of a brand new public boating ramp and park in 2022. The upgrade is located at the west end of Schooner’s and Adam’s Landing Marina.
The newly reopened establishment will feature a brand new menu selection, as well as new speakers, sound system, and TVs surrounding the bar and Tiki area.
Schooner’s will operate on Thursdays from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, Fridays from 4:00pm to 11:00pm, Saturdays from 11:00am to 11:00pm, and Sundays from 11:00am to 10:00pm.
