UPSHUR COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Six Buckhannon residents have been charged in connection with a felony drug operation conducted Thursday, May 8, by the Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crime Task Force.
The coordinated effort, which involved the Upshur County Sheriff’s Office, Buckhannon Police Department, and West Virginia State Police, resulted in multiple arrests for alleged drug distribution, with several charges related to activity near a school zone.
The individuals arrested and their charges are as follows:
- Kiley Ann Pason was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and delivery within 1,000 feet of a school.
- Katelynn Marie Wine was charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine.
- Kelly Dawn Harvey was charged with delivery of fentanyl, possession with intent to deliver fentanyl, conspiracy to deliver fentanyl, and delivery within 1,000 feet of a school.
- Joshua Dale Cutright was charged with conspiracy to deliver methamphetamine and delivery within 1,000 feet of a school.
- John Gary Oldaker was charged with possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.
- Robert James Arbogast was charged with delivery of methamphetamine and delivery within 1,000 feet of a school.
Authorities stated that more arrests are expected, as some suspects have not yet been located.
All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
The Mountain Region Drug and Violent Crime Task Force includes members from the Upshur, Randolph, and Lewis County sheriff’s offices, the Buckhannon and Elkins police departments, and the West Virginia State Police.
