CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The National Weather Service in Charleston says strong winds and light snow will affect parts of West Virginia Thursday night into Friday.
A low-pressure system moving northeast of the region will bring gusty winds, with gusts of 35 to 45 mph expected in the higher elevations of the West Virginia mountains.
Rain showers are forecast to change over to snow across the higher terrain of Pocahontas and Randolph counties Thursday night, continuing into Friday morning.
Accumulations are expected to be light, generally an inch or less.
