LEWIS COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing charges after he punched his mom in the face because she wouldn’t give him a pain pill.
According to the West Virginia State Police, troopers responded to the Quarry Glen Apartment Complex regarding a 911 hang-up call. When they arrived, the suspect, Mark Russell Ramsey, stated that nothing was going on; his mom called and was crying. As they made it through the apartment, they found the victim crying, holding her jaw.
The victim stated that her son became mad at her because she refused to give him a pain pill. Ramsey then allegedly hit his mom in the face with his fist.
Ramsey is charged with domestic battery. He is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 5,000 dollar bond.
