MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man is facing serious charges after he tried to rape his mom, saying it was a fetish of his.
According to court documents, the victim and her fiance were camping at a cabin in McDowell County. The defendant, Jessie Tyler Altizer of North Tazewell, Virginia, was camping at a nearby location. The victim and fiance went to check on Altizer by ATV. After some time had passed, the fiance needed to drive back to check on the fire. After the fiance left, Altizer asked if he could see the victim’s handgun. She allowed him since it was her son.
Due to cold temperatures, the victim got into the tent and inside a sleeping bag, falling asleep. She was awakened by Altizer being on top of her. The suspect asked the victim to perform oral sex on him, and she stated, “No, let me up.” Altizer then allegedly held her hands down and said relax, Mom, it’s just a fetish of mine. A struggle ensued between the both of them. When the suspect heard the ATV arriving back, he let go of his mom’s pants and belt. When the suspect let go of the victim, she fell face forward into a fire, which resulted in injuries that required her to be transported to the hospital.
Altizer was previously convicted of assault and battery on a family member back in 2021 in Tazewell County.
Altizer is charged with attempted first-degree rape, domestic assault, domestic battery, malicious wounding, and attempt to commit a felony. He is being held in Southwestern Regional Jail under a 75,000 dollar cash-only bond.
