West Virginia State Police say on Sunday, April 21st, 2024, they responded to Southern Regional Jail (SRJ) about an inmate who had drugs. When troopers arrived, staff said Michael Allen Corkhill had a rolled-up small piece of aluminum foil of Methamphetamine in his sock.
Additionally, staff seized a larger clear plastic bag of possible Cocaine from Corkhill’s anus. The substance was not able to be closely examined due to fecal matter being present on the packaging.
Both substances were sent to the West Virginia State Police Forensic Laboratory for analysis.
