PRINCETON, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – The Princeton Public Library- located at 920 Mercer Street- will close at 5 p.m. every day this week. The early closure was issued on Monday, January 24, 2022.
According to a library employee, the decision to close early was made after several staff members developed cold-like symptoms and were advised to stay home for the safety of themselves, other staff members and library patrons.
The library is expecting to return to its normal schedule next week; however, all of this weeks’ evening programs and storytimes are canceled. The library apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused the public and is working to reschedule as many events as possible.
