CHARLESTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – SpaceX has announced that its Starlink high-speed internet services are now available nationwide, including in West Virginia.
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation project developed by SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk.
It aims to provide global broadband internet access by deploying thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit.
These satellites create a network that can beam high-speed internet to users on the ground, even in remote or underserved areas.
Starlink has the potential to revolutionize internet connectivity, offering faster and more accessible internet services to people around the world.
According to the Starlink service map, service is available in all parts of West Virginia except for the areas that lie within the National Radio Quiet Zone.
Starlink satellite internet plans range from $90 a month to $5,000 a month, one-time equipment fees range from $599 to $2,500.
