FAIRLEA, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The State Fair of West Virginia, in collaboration with Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County (CISGC), will hold a school supply drive on Monday, August 12, 2024, during the 99th Annual State Fair.
Fairgoers who bring three different school supply items or two hygiene products will enjoy gate admission and carnival rides for only $25 from 11 AM to 11 PM.
Those opting out of carnival rides can enter for a discounted $8 gate admission.
Supplies can be redeemed at the main tunnel entrance or gate 5 on 219 North.
“We are very excited to be partnering with Communities in Schools of Greenbrier County, which does amazing work with kids in our area,” said State Fair CEO Kelly Collins.
“By offering a discount to those who donate, we hope to encourage even more fairgoers to participate and support this incredible organization.”
All donations will directly benefit local students, ensuring they have the necessary tools for academic success.
“As we approach our 20th anniversary, this partnership is an exceptional way to jumpstart the celebration and another successful school year for local youth,” said Brittany Brackenrich, Executive Director of CISGC.
“We are beyond grateful for the State Fair of West Virginia team and for those participating in the school supply drive!”
