FAYETTE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A Prudence man and woman are facing felony charges in Fayette County. Sheriff Jess McMullen provides the following information regarding this incident.
On April 14, 2025, deputies received notification of the theft of a standby generator from the Fayette Clinic on Lochgelly Road. Deputies were able to retrieve security footage of the theft where it observed a male removing the generator before driving away in a white pickup truck. A diligent investigation yielded more security footage from the area of the truck, eventually helping deputies obtain a license plate number. Today, April 15, 2025, Deputies were able to track the vehicle to a residence in Prudence where they discovered the stolen generator in the driveway.
A subsequent search warrant for the property was obtained to attempt to locate any other stolen goods. During the execution of the warrant, deputies discovered dogs and children inside the residence living in extremely deplorable conditions. Workers with Fayette County CPS came and took custody of the children while the dogs were secured by Fayette County Animal Control.
Timothy A. Miller, 45 of Prudence, is charged with the felony offenses of Grand Larceny, Destruction of Property, and Gross Child Neglect as well as the misdemeanor offenses of Animal Cruelty, and Simple Possession of Narcotics.
Jaimee M. Miller, 42 of Prudence, is charged with the felony offense of Gross Child Neglect and the misdemeanor offense of Animal Cruelty.
