SUMMERSVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Excitement is building for the 53rd Nicholas County Potato Festival as it will take over downtown Summersville for two days, and with that comes street closures.
The WVU Nicholas County Extension Service has released the list of streets that will be closed during the weekend of the festival from Friday, September 8, to Saturday, September 9.
The following streets will be closed for the Nicholas County Potato Festival:
- Main Street: Friday, September 8 at 3:30 p.m. through Saturday, September 9.
- Court Street: Friday, September 8 at 6:30 a.m. through Saturday, September 9.
- Broad Street: Thursday, September 7 at 3:30 p.m. through Saturday, September 9.
- Church Street: Friday, September 8 at 3:30 p.m. through Saturday, September 9.
These streets will also be closed for cleanup on Sunday, September 10. These dates are subject to change.
