HINTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Summers County Probation Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for allegedly absconding from supervision.
According to a wanted notice issued by the West Virginia Supreme Court’s 30th Judicial Circuit and the Summers County Probation Department, Jermaine Douglas Smith, 36, is wanted on a charge of absconding supervision related to possession of a controlled substance with intent.
Smith is described as being 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 300 pounds. His last known location was listed as Hinton.
Authorities are asking anyone with information regarding Smith’s whereabouts to contact the Summers County Probation Department at 304-466-7109 or notify the Summers County Sheriff’s Department.
The notice was issued as part of ongoing efforts to locate Smith and return him to supervision.
