SPENCER, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On the morning of Friday, September 13, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m., Corporal Z. W. Hartley and Trooper N. T. Warden executed an arrest warrant on 39-year-old Brandy McKinney at her residence in Spencer, WV.
While at the scene, officers observed drug paraphernalia, prompting them to obtain a search warrant for the property. Upon serving the warrant, law enforcement officers uncovered a significant amount of methamphetamine, heroin, and a firearm. During the investigation, it was revealed that McKinney is a convicted felon.
Following the discovery, McKinney was arrested not only on the original arrest warrant but also charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and Prohibited Person in Possession of a Firearm.
Authorities have confirmed that the crime investigation remains ongoing.
