BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Tamarack Marketplace is hosting the 16th Annual ‘Best of West Virginia’ Open Juried Exhibition Opening Reception & Award Ceremony in the David L. Dickirson Fine Arts Gallery on June 22, 2024, at 1 PM.
‘The Best of West Virginia’ celebrates the unmatched talent and vision of West Virginia creatives by showcasing their talents in this special juried competition. This highly anticipated event is the only exhibition in our fine arts gallery that accepts artwork by juried and non-juried in West Virginia artists.
In addition to the honor of being selected to display their work, there is also a monetary prize awarded to the first, second, third and people’s choice winners. This prize money not only recognizes the artists’ talent and hard work, but also helps to support their future artistic endeavors.
Join us at 1 PM in the gallery for a reception to meet the artists. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. At 3 PM, following the reception will be the award ceremony, held in our theatre.
The exhibit will feature a diverse array of art forms, including painting, sculpture, photography, and more. Admission is free and open to the public, so don’t miss your chance to see some of the best art West Virginia has to offer.
