LOS ANGELES (LOOTPRESS) – Music superstar, Taylor Swift was awarded her 13th Grammy Award on Sunday for “Best Pop Vocal” album, delivering an exciting bit of news for fans during her acceptance speech.
The “Anti-Hero” songwriter has been a mainstay in national media as of late, and attracted attention yet again during the 2024 Grammy Awards when she disclosed information which has apparently been kept under wraps for two years: an album of new Taylor Swift material is on the way.
The songwriter was characteristically calculated in selecting when to reveal the news, noting her own affinity for the number “13” while collecting her 13th Grammy Award.
Set to be released under the title, The Tortured Poets Department, the record will be Swift’s first of new material since 2022’s, Midnights.
Swift has been nominated for 52 Grammy Awards over the course of her career, including six to be determined at Sunday’s ceremony, one of which is that of, “Album of the Year” for Midnights.
