MARTINSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The 45th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival kicks off this week with proceedings set to get underway on Thursday.
Held every third weekend in the month of October, the multi-day festival event has become a beloved tradition amongst many Mountain State residents after its humble beginnings as a small community gathering.
This year’s event will be presented by BCT (the Bank of Charles Town) and will feature a variety of food vendors, a craft and arts fair, apple-pie contests, family activities, and the festival’s Grand Feature Parade.
“As we reflect on the past 45 years, we are reminded of the bonds this festival has strengthened and the memories it has created for so many,” says Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival President, Susan Snowden. “We hope this year’s celebration brings you joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences that you will carry with you for years to come.”
The 45th Annual Mountain State Apple Harvest Festival festivities are set to run from October 17 – October 20, with two of those days (October 19 – October 20) to feature attractions from full-service amusement company, Snyder’s Attractions. Games, rides, and concessions such as candy apples, funnel cakes, and more will be available at the Berkeley County Youth Fairgrounds as part of this year’s festivals. Individual tickets are available to purchase for rides, or attendees can ride all day for $25.
Along with carnival attractions, commercial pop-up shop vendors, agricultural displays, food trucks, live entertainment, and more will be featured.
