MOUNT HOPE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Table cafe has been announced as the recipient of both the “People’s Choice” and “Youth’s Choice” awards for Taste of Bridge Day 2024.
The establishment, brought to the Mount Hope area over the summer by owners Jennifer and Mike Kessinger – the latter of whom also serves as the Mayor of Mount Hope – specializes in barbeque meals and specialty deli sandwiches.
“We are so excited to share we won both the Youth’s Choice and People’s Choice at Taste of Bridge Day!,” said The Table in an announcement regarding the win.
Also recognized for their entries at this year’s Taste of Bridge Day event were The Gaines Estate, which was awarded “Best Entree,” Bumbler Bee Baker – The Cake Box, which won for “Best Snack,” Smokey’s which took home the “Best Appetizer” and “Best Dessert” awards.
Each year the Taste of Bridge Day event makes its way to Fayette County to allow vendors to set up and for members of the public to partake in local cuisine and get a firsthand look at the culture of Southern West Virginia. For more information, visit the Taste of Bridge Day website.
