MARATHON, FL (LOOTPRESS) — Lunchtime shoppers at a Florida Keys Winn-Dixie were met with a jaw-dropping scene Saturday after deputies say three people were caught having sex in the grocery store’s parking lot — in broad daylight.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded around noon after several witnesses reported the trio openly engaging in sexual acts beside parked cars. When authorities arrived, they found all three suspects heavily intoxicated and actively involved in the activity.
All were arrested on the spot.
Repeat Offender Among Those Charged
Sharon Helen Czaplinsky, 45, of Marathon, faces charges of unlawful exposure of sexual organs, disorderly intoxication, and resisting without violence. Deputies noted it was her second arrest for similar behavior in just three months.
Marshall Adam Lowery, 43, of Key Largo, was charged with committing unnatural and lascivious acts along with disorderly intoxication.
Michael McDonald Howard, 59, also of Marathon, was charged with unlawful exposure of sexual organs and disorderly intoxication.
All Three Taken to Jail
Deputies said the trio was “highly intoxicated” and made little effort to stop when law enforcement arrived. All three were transported to jail following the incident.
