LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Three people were arrested Wednesday following a major drug bust in Logan County that uncovered fentanyl, marijuana, suboxone, and thousands in cash.
The West Virginia State Police said investigators with the Bureau of Criminal Investigations (BCI) Logan, along with troopers from the Logan Detachment, executed a search warrant at a residence on Seberts Alley in Amherstdale after an extensive investigation.
Officers also conducted a consent search of a neighboring residence.
The searches led to the discovery of 23 pounds of packaged marijuana, 2 ounces of fentanyl, suboxone strips, and more than $14,000 in cash.
Three suspects — Ricky Dale Browning, 36; Jennings Spears, 36; and Linda Spears, 73, all of Amherstdale — were taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, fentanyl, and suboxone.
All three were arraigned by a Logan County magistrate and transported to Southwestern Regional Jail after processing.
