PAX, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Town of Pax will celebrate Independence Day with its annual God & Country Day festivities on Saturday, July 4, featuring a full day of community events capped off with fireworks at dusk.
The celebration begins at 8 a.m. with a pancake breakfast at 88 Center Street.
At 9 a.m., horseshoe singles and doubles competitions will be held at Town Hall.
The annual parade is scheduled to begin at noon. Also at noon, pies for the community pie event are due at Town Hall.
Organizers are also planning a tentative car and motorcycle show as part of the day’s activities.
The celebration will conclude with a fireworks display at dusk.
Residents and visitors are invited to attend the free community event and enjoy a day of patriotic festivities in Pax.
