DOROTHY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Heavy winds and intermittent rainfall throughout the week have preceded a number of traffic issues in Raleigh County, with a downed tree and power lines having been among the most recent.
Beckley-Raleigh County Emergency Services on Wednesday morning indicated reports of a tree and live power lines having gone down in the roadway in the 6000 block of Clear Fork Road in the Dorothy area.
Emergency personnel have reportedly been dispatched to the area with regard to the issue, and motorists have been urged to avoid the area until such a time that the scene can be cleared.
A power outage has also been reported in the area.
