KINCAID, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A train has derailed in a Fayette County neighborhood.
An empty Kanawha River Railroad (KNWA) coal train from Mullens derailed in the town of Kincaid on Wednesday evening.
Multiple cars derailed along with some of the locomotives.
Rail crews are on the scene along with the West Virginia Department of Homeland Security.
Sources who were at the scene tell LOOTPRESS that there were no injuries reported.
There are houses near the tracks but none of the homes were affected.
The cause of the derailment is unknown at this time.
