WYOMING COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Friday, April 11, 2025, at around 3:45 PM, Trooper B.M. Bane responded to a call from Wyoming County 911 regarding a disturbing sexual assault case involving a minor.
Upon arrival, the Trooper met with the caller, who reported that a man named Raymond Fairley had allegedly committed sexual acts with the victim. The caller presented video evidence showing the minor performing oral sex on an unidentified female. The Trooper observed that the minor was visible in the video.
The caller indicated that she had witnessed Fairley watching this video on approximately April 3, 2025, and had captured footage of him viewing it on his cell phone. Furthermore, she revealed that she had spoken with the victim, who corroborated that Fairley had forced her to perform oral sex in the master bedroom of his residence on March 30, 2025.
The victim also disclosed that Fairley had attempted to sexually assault her on a different occasion in his garage, where he allegedly engaged in inappropriate contact.
In response to these serious allegations, Trooper E.B. Harper and Trooper Bane secured the suspect’s cell phone to preserve evidence. They completed a Domestic Violence Information Sheet and encouraged the victim to seek a Domestic Violence Protection Order from the Wyoming County Magistrate.
The Troopers later arrived at Fairley’s residence at about 6:30 PM, where he was arrested on sexual asszult charges and child porn charges.
