MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office picked up an investigation into a burglary that occurred on November 28th, 2023 in the area of Warrormines in McDowell County.
Deputies were notified of several items being taken from the residence including a necklace containing the ashes of the victim(s) father.
After a lengthy investigation Deputies on Friday, February 16th. 2024 executed search warrants on two residences in the Warriormines area of McDowell County. Deputies while carrying out the searches were able to locate the necklace containing ashes belonging to the victim(s).
Deputies with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office arrested the following suspects;
Michael Silcox – charges; Burglary, Grand Larceny, and Felony Conspiracy.
Bond: $30,000.00 cash set by Magistrate Richard VanDyke
Christopher Jackson – charges; Burglary, Grand Larceny, Transferring Stolen Property, and felony conspiracy.
Bond: $40,000.00 cash set by Magistrate Richard VanDyke.
