MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The McDowell County Sheriff’s Office arrested two individuals Monday following the execution of a search warrant on Little Davy Road.
Deputies discovered a quantity of controlled substances, digital scales, plastic baggies, and two firearms—one of which was reported stolen.
Candace Groves, 44, and Jeremy Gullett, 44, both of Davy, were taken into custody. Groves is charged with possession with intent to distribute, maintaining a dwelling for drug sales, and felony conspiracy.
Gullett faces the same charges, along with being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.
Both suspects were arraigned before McDowell County Magistrate Richard VanDyke. Groves’ bond was set at $200,000 cash, while Gullett’s bond was set at $250,000 cash.
They were transported to the McDowell County Holding Unit.
