RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office has announced charges in connection with a financial exploitation case involving an elderly victim.
According to Sheriff Frank Priddy, the department’s Detective Bureau began investigating the matter in May 2024.

Following the investigation, two individuals have been charged.
Roy Keith faces seven felony counts of financial exploitation of an elderly person, protected person, or incapacitated adult, along with one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Peggy Dickens has been charged with nine felony counts of financial exploitation of an elderly person, protected person, or incapacitated adult, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Sheriff Priddy and Chief Deputy Frankie Shelton expressed their gratitude to the Detective Bureau for its continued work and dedication to protecting the community.
Both remain at Southern Regional Jail on a $250,000 bond.
Authorities emphasized that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
