WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two men have been arrested following two separate drug investigations.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson, Richard Gilkerson was arrested for warrants that were issued after an investigation by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit.
A distribution quantity of Methamphetamine was seized during the investigation.
Gilkerson is charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine and Conspiracy to Distribute 5 to 50 grams of Methamphetamine.
A warrant was issued for another suspect in this case.
The West Virginia State Police (WVSP) WVSP arrested Gilkerson during a traffic stop.
Sheriff Thompson stated that the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit stopped a vehicle in the Ceredo area that was traveling from West Huntington.
During the stop, a distribution quantity of Methamphetamine was recovered.
Shane Grow, of Huntington, was placed under arrest and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine.
Grow advised that he was on probation for distributing Methamphetamine.
