LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two Logan women were arrested on multiple drug and firearm charges following an investigation by the West Virginia State Police at a residence in Logan County.
According to state police, Trooper C.D. Woodall responded Saturday, May 23, to a drug complaint at a home on Aries Street in Logan.
During the investigation, troopers said they located heroin, fentanyl, prescription medication, U.S. currency and several firearms inside the residence.
Authorities charged Stephanie J. Damron, 62, of Logan, with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, one count of prohibited person in possession of a firearm and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Jessica R. Rorie, 41, of Logan, was charged with two counts of possession with intent to deliver, four counts of prohibited person with a firearm and one count of conspiracy to commit a felony.
Both women were transported to the Southwestern Regional Jail.
State police said the investigation remains ongoing.
