CHAPMANVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A wife is charged after allegedly chasing her husband with a large piece of metal.
On the night of Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at around 11:30 PM, Lieutenant E.C. Ferrell and Patrolman J.T. Preston were dispatched to respond to a domestic violence incident. Upon reaching the scene, the officers interviewed the victim, who reported that his wife had chased him out of their apartment with a large piece of metal and had struck him on the left arm and wrist. The victim also mentioned that the defendant had thrown a glass object, hitting him on the left ankle.

The officers noticed visible injuries on the victim that matched his account. Subsequently, the defendant was taken into custody and transported to Chapmanville PD for processing.
All events took place in Chapmanville.
