HURRICANE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Outdoor enthusiasts and adventure seekers have an opportunity to win some outstanding West Virginia experiences while supporting a good cause. The West Virginia State Parks Foundation is announcing its West Virginia Outdoor Adventure Raffle, featuring more than $14,000 in donated prizes from businesses, outfitters, resorts, and outdoor recreation destinations throughout the Mountain State.
From whitewater rafting and guided fishing trips to hunting adventures, resort getaways, camping experiences, and outdoor gear, the raffle offers something for just about everyone who enjoys exploring West Virginia.
Among the featured prizes are a golf package at The Greenbrier valued at $2,400; a guided rafting and cabin getaway from Ace Adventure Resort; overnight stays at several West Virginia resorts; guided hunting and fishing trips; kayak and paddleboard rentals; and a variety of outdoor equipment and merchandise.
West Virginia State Parks are also represented, with packages featuring a trout fishing experience at Pipestem Resort State Park and a sporting clays experience at Cacapon Resort State Park, both including overnight accommodations.
“The generosity of West Virginia businesses and outdoor recreation partners has been tremendous,” said Brad Reed, Executive Director of the West Virginia State Parks Foundation. “We have assembled an outstanding collection of experiences that showcase the many ways people can enjoy our state. Just as importantly, this raffle provides an opportunity to support the places and outdoor resources that make West Virginia special.”
Raffle tickets are $40 each, with a special offer of Buy Five, Get the Sixth Ticket Free. Participants do not have to be present to win.
The drawing will take place on January 23, 2027, at the West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show at the Charleston Coliseum & Convention Center in Charleston.
All proceeds from the raffle will benefit West Virginia State Parks, Forests, and Rail Trails. The West Virginia State Parks Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, protecting, and enhancing West Virginia’s outdoor resources through leadership, funding, and support in partnership with local park foundations.
