MINGO COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two people from Wharncliffe were arrested Wednesday following an investigation by the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department, according to officials.
Kevin W. Browning of Wharncliffe was arrested on January 21, 2026, by Deputy B.T. Sipple and Deputy T.J. Justice. He is charged with possession with intent to deliver, conspiracy to deliver, and a parole violation.
Browning is currently being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $6,000 cash-only bond.
On the same date, Clarissa D. Browning, also of Wharncliffe, was arrested by Deputy Sipple and Deputy Justice. She faces charges of possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy to deliver.
She is also being held at the Southwestern Regional Jail on a $6,000 cash-only bond, officials said.
The Mingo County Sheriff’s Department emphasized that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
