WOOD COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Two people were sent to the hospital following a crash involving a car and motorcycle.
According to the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, on Thursday, August 8, a motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at the intersection of Elizabeth Pike and Turkey Foot Road.
The driver of the car reported that she was traveling northbound on Elizabeth Pike and was making a left-hand turn onto the old section of Elizabeth Pike when the accident happened.
She believed she had enough space to complete the turn ahead of the southbound motorcycle.
As a result of the collision, both the motorcycle driver and passenger were injured and transported to CMC for treatment.
Their current condition has not been released.
