LOGAN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A warrant sweep conducted in the Logan County area by various law enforcement entities this week has lead to the arrest of half-a-dozen wanted fugitives.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, officials initiated a warrant sweep in pursuit of suspects who had violated probation orders or were the subject of active Circuit Court Capiases.
Participating entities in this sweep included members of the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, U.S. Marshal’s Service Fugitive Task Force, U.S. 119 Task Force and Logan County Prosecuting Attorney, David Wandling.
Six unnamed fugitives were arrested as a result of the effort and transported to Southwestern Regional Jail.
Additional information pertaining to the locations of other fugitives was reportedly discerned and, as a result, future arrests are expected to be forthcoming.
