WELCH, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man wanted out of Tazewell County, Virginia, is apprehended in McDowell County.
On July 22, 2024, at approximately 8:51 PM, Brandon Burnett, a fugitive from justice out of Tazewell County, Virginia, fled on foot from an officer with the Welch City Police Department. Deputies from the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office provided mutual aid and were able to apprehend the wanted fugitive.
Burnett was a fugitive from Tazewell, Virginia, due to possession of methamphetamine.
