CLARKSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Martin Lynn Queen, 61, of Clarksburg, has pleaded guilty to a federal charge of unlawful possession of a firearm.
According to court documents, law enforcement officers discovered a firearm in Queen’s vehicle during a traffic stop.
A subsequent search of his properties uncovered additional firearms and ammunition.
Queen is prohibited from owning firearms due to a prior firearms conviction in the Northern District of West Virginia.
Queen now faces up to 15 years in federal prison. A federal district court judge will determine the sentence after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other legal factors.
Assistant U.S. Attorney David Perri is prosecuting the case, which was investigated by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods, a nationwide initiative that brings together law enforcement and community partners to combat violent crime and gun violence, aiming to make neighborhoods safer.
