MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Victorian London will be making its way to the Mountain State this weekend by way of a collaborative production of the Charles Dickens classic, A Christmas Carol from West Virginia Public Theatre and the WVU School of Theatre & Dance.
The production will be presented on West Virginia University‘s Evansdale Campus at the Lyell B. Clay Theatre in the Canaday Creative Arts Center, with the first show set to begin at 2:00pm this Saturday. A second Saturday presentation is scheduled for 7:30pm, and those interested will have five opportunities to catch the show between December 7, 2024, and December 11, 2024.
“The cast, creative team and crew have been working tirelessly to make this show special,” said West Virginia Public Theatre Marketing Director, Adam Payne in a statement regarding the production. “We hope you will join us in celebrating their work. There [are] only 5 chances to see the show, so don’t wait, and it all starts this Saturday!”

A timeless holiday classic, A Christmas Carol follows the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge as he is confronted by various spirits, the shortcomings of his past, and the true meaning of the Christmas season.
