BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Miners are inviting residents to celebrate Independence Day with what organizers describe as the largest fireworks show in West Virginia on Saturday, July 4, at AccessHealth Field at Linda K. Epling Stadium in Beckley.
According to an announcement from the team, admission to the event will be free. Gates are scheduled to open at 6 p.m.
The evening will begin with an American Legion baseball game at 7 p.m. Fireworks will be launched following the conclusion of the game.
The event is being hosted by Douglas and Linda K. Epling.
Organizers said parking at the stadium lot will be limited to guests attending the day’s events.
The celebration is expected to draw a large crowd as families from across southern West Virginia gather for baseball and a Fourth of July fireworks display at the ballpark.
